Sue Ella Yost, 79, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 24th at Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home Chapel with Reggie Coe officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

Sue was born on January 29, 1946, in Duncan, Oklahoma to Dale and Sue (Sain) Hill. She was a dedicated wife, mother, and Nana.

Sue faithfully served the Wichita Falls community as a nurse for over 30 years. She began her nursing career working 15 years for allergist, Dr. Gregory. She then finished her nursing career, as a nurse, at Midwestern State University in the Vincent Health Center. Sue was known for her compassionate care, dedication, and ease of giving a shot to her patients.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her daughter Terri Croxton

Sue is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Richard, and her children:: Jackie May (Brett) of Wichita Falls, TX; DeAnn Yost of Austin, TX.; 5 grandchildren: Deztany Parks of Austin, TX, Hunter May (Katie) of Cartersville, GA, Kali Taylor of Austin, TX;, Jordan May (Molly) of Newport News, VA, Taylor May of Fitchburg, WI, and 6 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers: Robert Hill; Wayne Hill (Sue); and sister, Wanda Dixon.
