Sylvia Lynn Adams, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, went to be her Lord and Savior June 19, 2024 in Sherman, Texas, at the age of 70 years old.

Memorial services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 29th at First Baptist Church of Holliday with Pastor Nathan Roach officiating. The family will receive friends at a visitation following the service. Private interment will be at Highland Cemetery in Iowa Park under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

Sylvia was born in Wichita Falls on September 15, 1953. She dearly loved her sweet dog of 13 years, SaraBell, and spending time with family. Sylvia's "girls" were her world until a tiny warrior baby boy entered her life in 2019. She spoke about her one and only grandson "Rivstone" with adoration that could light up the sun any chance she was able. She was endlessly proud of the newest addition to her family, her great-granddaughter Ruthie. Sylvia's spunky personality, laughter and love will be greatly missed. We have confidence in knowing that she surrendered her life to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Sylvia is preceded in death by her father Thomas Burnam, mother Vivian Vance, and brothers, Lester Burnam and Mark Burnam.

She is survived by her daughters Tishia Horner and husband Carson of Rule, TX; and Renee Halbritter and husband Ray of Cleveland, NY; granddaughters Shelby Still of Syracuse, NY; Harley Silvas and husband Dakota of Owasso, OK; grandson Riverstone Halbritter of Cleveland, NY; great-granddaughter Ruthie Silvas of Owasso, OK; brother Tommy Burnam and wife Maria of Round Rock, TX; sisters Donna Huff and husband Mike of Richland WA and Brenda Burnam of Calera OK; and several very special and adored nieces and nephews.
