Theresa Dawn (Walker) Wiest, 61, of Waurika, Oklahoma, passed away on August 19, 2026.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 27th at Lunn’s Colonial Funeral Home with Pastor Chad Stubblefield officiating. The family welcomes friends to a visitation immediately following the service.

A daughter of Phyllis (Stevens) Hobbs and Don Walker, Theresa was born on August 29, 1964, in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. Theresa was a graduate of Waurika High School and went on to dedicate her career to nursing. She worked for many years alongside Dr. Kevin Thomas in Wichita Falls, Texas, making a lasting impact on countless patients and colleagues. Above all, she treasured spending time with her family and friends, and her single greatest joy in life was being a grandmother.

Theresa was preceded in death by her mother, Phyllis; her father, Don; and her brother, Donnie.

She is survived by her children, Devon (Wiest) Thomas of Raleigh, NC, and Dustin Wiest of Petrolia, TX; her beloved grandchildren, Jayden, Benjamin, Colson, Sawyer, Zeya, and Josie; her stepfather, Neal Hobbs; her sisters, Christie Walker, Melissa Hobbs, and Mandy Gibson; her brothers, Scott Walker and Jamie Walker; as well as many cherished nieces and nephews.
