Trena Carolyne Norsworthy, 82, of Wichita Falls, passed away on Friday, October 23, 2026.

The family will receive friends at a visitation from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 29th at Lunn’s. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 30th at Holliday Cemetery with Pastor Chad Stubblefield officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn’s Colonial Funeral Home.

A daughter of the late Thelma (Southerland) and T. A. Plemons, Trena was born on February 21, 1944, in Bluegrove, Texas, Clay County. She was a graduate of Wichita Falls High School class of 1962. Her greatest joys in life were her husband, son and grandchildren. She loved watching the grandchildren playing sports. She enjoyed watching sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys and the University of Texas Longhorns.

Trena is survived by her husband, Joe Norsworthy; son Clint Norsworthy and wife, Christine; step-sons, Jay Norsworthy and wife, Janet; step-daughter, Nancy Wakefield; grandsons, Colton and Christopher Norsworthy; step-grandsons, Zach Norsworthy, Shawn Wolfe; step-granddaughter, Jessica Laninach; brother, Tommy Plemons; sisters, Twila Rasmussen and Treva Adcock; and niece Quenna Burr.

The family extends a special thanks to the staff at Hospice of Wichita Falls and niece, Quenna Burr for their loving care of Trena.
