Vicki G. Compton, 71, of Wichita Falls, Texas, passed away on April 2, 2026.

A daughter of the late Charles and Charlotte Gamble, Vicki was born on October 2, 1954, in Wichita Falls, TX. Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, April 14th at Crestview Memorial Park.

Vicki was a devoted wife, mother, daughter and friend. She was married to Ronnie Compton, and together they were blessed with two sons that she loved with all her heart.

Vicki was known for her kindness. Her home was always open, not only to her own children but to the many friends that came with them, welcoming each one as her own. She had a generous heart and a special way of making everyone feel like they belonged. She had the best laugh and truly enjoyed listening to and telling stories of the past.

For 50 years, Vicki was a dedicated employee of Higginbotham Insurance, where her hard work, loyalty, and commitment left a lasting impact on all those she encountered.

Vicki was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Charlotte Gamble; her husband, Ronnie Compton; and her son, Kevin Compton.

She is survived by her son, Michael Compton of Wichita Falls, Texas.

Vicki will be remembered for her kindness, her strength, and the deep love she gave so freely to those around her. Her presence will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
