On March 29, 1926, Romie W. and Mildred C. Paschall welcomed Ginger into their expansive family in Olney, Texas. Ginger joined siblings William Crawford, Lynn Stanley, Al Witten, and Phyllis Mildred.  Joe Dale Paschall joined the family two years later. The Paschall family moved to Wichita Falls when Ginger was a teenager.

Ginger was always petite and outgoing, even from the first.  She excelled in school, graduating with honors from Wichita Falls High School in the midst of World War II and attended Midwestern University.

Ginger enjoyed many avocations, especially singing, and in her later years, crafting stained glass art. There is one surviving recording of her singing as a young girl. During the War, Ginger and her cousin Phoebe sang together on the radio and traveled with a group of musicians to numerous bases across the country.  She pursued her singing with enthusiasm as long as she was physically able.  She counted among her closest friends the many fellow choir members in the Chancel Choir at the First United Methodist Church, where she was a choir and church member since 1938.

Ginger was proud of her decades of work for major Oil and Gas companies. She retired from the Mobil Oil Company in 1988.  She remained a shareholder in it and its successors to her last day.

On August 5, 1961, Ginger married Donald Edwin Walker in the Wichita Falls First United Methodist Church. The two of them enjoyed 51 years of marriage, regaling friends and family with their life stories, until Donald died.

All of Ginger's siblings passed away before Ginger, as did niece Lynell Marlow and nephew Edwin Lynn Paschall.

Nieces and nephews Sharon Davis, Raymond Brown, Pam Jones, Jody Williams, Sandra Cooper, and Gary Paschall survive her.

The family will receive friends at a visitation from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 25th at Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home, 2812 Midwestern Parkway, Wichita Falls, TX 76308. Ginger's Memorial Service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 26th at Lunn's Chapel with Dr. John McLarty officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, Ginger's family suggests a donation to the Wichita Falls United Methodist Church Choir Fund, 909 10th Street, Wichita Falls, TX 76301.

Ginger passed from this earth-bound life on November 19, 2025, just over fours months shy of her 100th birthday.

She moved through the world softly, leaving it better in ways only the heart can measure.
