William Hassell Palmer, 78, of Wichita Falls, passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2024.

A son of the late Mary Isobel (Hassell) and Walter Benjamin Palmer, William was born on November 29, 1945, in San Diego, California.

Bill graduated class of '61 at Wichita Falls Senior High before receiving his Bachelors and MBA through the University of North Texas. While he spent his life traveling the world, beginning at an early age owing to his father's military career, Bill always considered Hext, Texas his home. He was a godly man, never missing his weekly bible studies. He loved trips to the mountains to go skiing, playing golf with his friends, and being a practical joker.

Bill is survived by his sister, Mary Lou Moser (whom he enjoyed beating at trivia); his two daughters Marissa and Jillian (to whom he made sure to send a corny joke every night before bed); two nieces and nephews, and many great and great-great-nieces and -nephews.
