William Paul Sullenger, 93, went to be with his Savior and Lord Jesus, Monday, November 6, 2023.

The family will receive friends at a visitation from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, November 13th at Lunn's. Paul's celebration service, led by Pastor Scott West and Pastor Darryl Sewell, will be held 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 14th at Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Crestview Memorial Park under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

William "Paul" was born on May 29, 1930, in Bellevue, Texas, to Lee and Gladys Sullenger. He proudly served his country in the US Army. After discharge, he began his employment with the Taystee Bread Company. Paul married Iva Joyce Norton on February 4, 1954, in Bellevue. They settled in Wichita Falls, where he continued working in the production of Taystee Bread products. After the local bakery was relocated, Paul became a route man responsible for delivering bread products to local and area stores and schools.

Paul's outgoing personality and gift of gab resulted in friendships to all he encountered for which he was fondly called "Pappy" which lasted past his 60 plus years of working. He was a member of Fairway Baptist Church and loved having daily bible studies with his neighbor and friend Randy Stewart. Paul loved to sing hymns, was an avid domino player and a huge fan of the Dallas Mavericks, Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Iva Joyce; parents, Lee and Gladys Sullenger; brother, Harry Lee Sullenger; sister, Jean Viti; and granddaughter, Leesa Manning.

He is survived by his sisters, Doris Finelli and Beverlee Sullenger both of Coppell, TX; daughter, Connie Bennett and husband, Billy; sons, Randy Sullenger and wife, Cindy; and Tim Sullenger and wife, Patty all of Wichita Falls,TX; five grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
