Obituary

Brian Scott Beasley, 58, passed away on April 10, 2017 in Archer City, Texas.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 13, 2017 at the First Baptist Church in Holliday, Texas with Brother Darryl Sewell and Brother Billy Williams officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery in Iowa Park, Texas following the service under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

Brian was born May 5, 1958 to Monroe and Doris (Walling) Beasley in Wichita Falls, Texas. Brian married Tanya Alexander on December 19, 1987 in Seymour, Texas. Brian worked in the construction business specializing in homes for over 30 years. He then decided to start his own business raising deer and over time expanded into deer breeding. This was a business he became passionate about and it took long hours and many years to get top get the top quality deer he was proud of. Brian was a member of the Texas Deer Association and the Deer Breeders Co-op. In his earlier years Brian liked to participate in rodeos and rode bulls. He was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Holliday, Texas.

Brian was preceded in death by his father Monroe Beasley in 1993. He is survived by his wife Tanya of Archer City; his mother Doris Beasley Snider and husband Glenn of Wichita Falls; two sons Brandt Beasley of Archer City and Cody Beasley and Danielle of Archer City; two sisters Becky Swaydan and husband Jimmy of Wichita Falls and Michelle Adams of Iowa Park; five grandsons: Ben, Dillon, Vance, Tanner and Brody Beasley; two granddaughters Alice and Eve Beasley; and three nieces; Jessica Campbell, Julia Escalante and Crystal Persick; and beloved Boston Terriers, Mattie and Matilda.

The family will be at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6-7 PM, for visitation.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls, 4909 Johnson Road, Wichita Falls, Texas 76310 or to the American Cancer Society.
