Cindy Gail York, 63, of Wichita Falls, passed away on Monday, September 7, 2020.

The family will receive friends at a visitation from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 15th at Lunns. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 16th in Lunnís Chapel with Pastor Kendall Graves of Grace Church in Iowa Park officiating. Interment will follow at St. Boniface Cemetery Scotland, Texas, under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

A daughter of the late Lida Marvaline (Noris) and Clarence Albert Perkins, Cindy was born on April 27, 1957, in Rogers, Arkansas. Cindy was well educated, completing half of her Doctorate course work in Special Education and Educational Development. In addition to her 17 year teaching career, she was a Naval Veteran and served later in life in a civilian capacity for the United States Army, Child Youth and School Services. She was a loving mother, who lived only to provide the best for her family and friends. She was well traveled and had lived overseas for nearly ten years prior to her diagnosis.

Along with her parents, Cindy was also preceded in death by; one sister, Constance Maye James; two brothers, Bobby Perkins and Zeno Berton Perkins; and one daughter, Linda Dee Elliott.

She is survived by her children Mica Gail Lakin and husband, Daniel Allen Lakin; as well as her son, Wayne Albert York. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Luke Allen Lakin and Clark Ashton Lakin.
